Lobby Day in albany to fight for the safe streets act

Join us on Tuesday, January 24 for a lobby trip to Albany to fight for the SAFE Streets Act, a package of life-saving safe street bills that will result in safe street design, lower vehicle speeds, changes to vehicles that make them safer for pedestrians and cyclists, and support for those impacted by crashes (learn more about the bills here: https://www.transalt.org/safe).

To register to join us, please RSVP using this link: familiesforsafestreets.org/2023LobbyDay

This will be an opportunity for members to meet, share their stories, and lobby for the SAFE Streets Act with lawmakers. For those traveling from the NYC Metropolitan Area, we will meet outside Grand Central Terminal at 6:00am and take a chartered bus to Albany, and will aim at returning to Grand Central by 6:00pm that evening.

We hope you can join us on in this fight to pass the SAFE Streets Act without delay.
