If you have been personally impacted by a crash (and/or are a safe streets activist), please join our Families for Safe Streets lobby week for the Crash Victim Rights & Safety Act!

The act is a collection of critical and life-saving legislation that will:
- address the speeding that is rampant on our streets
- inform consumers to incentivize the purchase of safer vehicles
- hold the most reckless drivers accountable
- combat impaired driving
- protect our most vulnerable street users
- support those personally impacted by a crash

We will meet with approximately 100 NYS Senators and Assembly Members during our lobby week from April 19-23 to share the importance of passing this package of bills. Instead of boarding buses and going to Albany, all of the meetings will be held virtually.

Meetings will be held from 9am-12pm and 1:00-4:00pm every day. We will divide into three teams and anticipate that each team will have 4-5 meetings every morning and every afternoon. It will be a busy week!

We hope you will join us for at least one half-day session, if not more!
